Christianity is founded and focused on the centrality of who Jesus Christ is.
People form and arrive at their viewpoints and opinions based on many influencing factors. These may include their cultural background, parenting, religious upbringing, educational inputs, family and peer pressures, personal experiences and interpretations, reflections, as well as other factors. It is important to be mindful that these are influencing factors when considering a viewpoint that may not immediately conform to a currently held worldview or mindset.
Rather than relying only on views shaped by such influences, why not more directly and personally evaluate the claims Jesus Christ made about himself? Is Jesus who he says he is?
In this module, three claims Jesus made about himself being God are examined, drawing on the New Testament Scriptures for his (translated) words (which are printed in red font in many Bibles).
These claims by Jesus of being God, biblically support the foundational tenet of Christianity attesting to the Deity of Jesus Christ.
